Banks should go to school on Credit Union Gamification
According to a recent blog by Market Rates Insight (MRI), credit unions are building deposits and customer loyalty with "gamification", more commonly known as "prize-linked savings."
The success of these programs for credit unions certainly begs the question if banks are missing out on a successful deposit campaign. Maybe banks should start examining this concept to find an approach that won't violate banking regulations.
